JJ Virgin is an American nutritionist, author, and fitness expert best known for her work in functional nutrition and for writing several New York Times bestselling books, including The Virgin Diet and The Sugar Impact Diet.[1][2] She is also a media personality and the founder of Reignite Wellness, a health and wellness brand focused on nutrition and healthy aging.[3]

Virgin studied Exercise Science at UCLA and completed graduate coursework in biomechanics, nutrition, and aging.[4] She holds certifications as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition (BCHN), and Certified Personal Trainer (EP-C).[5]
