Established in 1987 as Servo Dynamics Pte Ltd, the company distributed motion control components from Japanese manufacturers.[3] It listed on the Singapore Exchange in 2005, raising S$8.7 million.[3]
Post-IPO expansion (2005–2017)
The company expanded into China with a Suzhou manufacturing facility in 2010.[4] Its 2017 dual listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange coincided with increased regional automation demand.[5]
Recent activities (2018–present)
ISDN entered renewable energy with Indonesian hydropower projects, including a 10 MW plant operational since 2022.[6] The company reported S$403.2 million revenue in 2023 amid regional supply chain adjustments.[7]
Business operations in Asia
[edit]ISDN Holdings Limited operates in industrial automation, renewable energy, and precision manufacturing across Southeast Asia. The company distributes motion control components such as servo motors and programmable logic controllers through partnerships with manufacturers including Harmonic Drive, Maxon Motor, and Schneider Electric.[8][9][10]
In robotics, ISDN distributes collaborative robots (cobots) from Yaskawa and Epson for manufacturing applications,[11] along with SCARA robots for assembly lines in Southeast Asia.[12] The company has provided robotic systems for construction projects in Singapore, including public housing developments.[13]
The company offers industrial software solutions through a partnership with AVEVA, implementing SCADA systems and digital twin technology for infrastructure projects.[14][15] Its subsidiary in Nanjing develops manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other industrial software for the Chinese market.[16]
