Post United (2019–Present)

[edit]

Post United is a Spanish digital football media platform founded in 2019 by Esteve Calzada and DjMaRiiO [9]. Based in Barcelona, the company produces daily content across multiple social media platforms, targeting younger audiences.

In March 2023, the platform announced that it had surpassed 6 million followers [10] across all its networks. In the same period, Post United raised €1 million in a capital increase, giving the company a pre-money valuation of €2.5 million.

Kings League (2023–Present)

[edit]

In 2023, DjMaRiiO joined the Kings League [11] as president and founder of Ultimate Móstoles, participating in the competition created by Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos.

During their first year, the team competed in three splits:

  • Split 1: Won the league phase (play-in) but were eliminated in the quarterfinals [12] by El Barrio (0-3).
  • Split 2: Finished eighth, reached the preliminary playoff, and were eliminated by 1K [13] (3-3, 4-3 on penalties), a team presided over by Iker Casillas [14].
  • Split 3 (2023/24): Finished fourth in the league phase and reached the final, losing 4-3 to Saiyans [15].

In other competitions, Ultimate Móstoles were runners-up in the Kingdom Cup [16], losing 7-2 in the final [17] against Porcinos.

In their second season, the team played two splits. In Split 4, they topped the league phase but were eliminated in the semifinals [18] by xBuyer Team (1-6). The team also competed in the Kings Cup Spain 2025/26, whose winner qualified for the Kings Cup Europe. Ultimate Móstoles reached the final but lost 5-16 to Porcinos.

Despite several defeats, the team has achieved major successes:

  • October 2023: Won the Kings Cup 2023 [19], defeating Los Troncos FC 8-1 in front of 30,000 fans at La Rosaleda (Málaga).
  • May 2025: Won Split 5 of the Kings League [20] after a remarkable comeback. After finishing ninth in the regular season (play-in), they overcame five knockout rounds, including a final against Los Troncos FC, coming back from 3-0 down and winning on penalties.

Queens League (2023–Present)

[edit]

Following the success of the Kings League, Gerard Piqué introduced a women’s division. In the first split of the inaugural season, Ultimate Móstoles finished second in the regular phase but were eliminated in the second round [21] by xBuyer Team (1-1, 3-4 on penalties). In the second split, they reached the final [22] at the WiZink Center (now Movistar Arena), losing 1-4 to xBuyer Team. [23] As the Kingdom Cup combines both Kings and Queens League teams, Ultimate Móstoles once again reached the final, where they lost 7-2 to Porcinos FC.[24] In their second season, during the third split, the team finished second [25] in the league phase but were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Jijantas FC (1-1, 2-4 on penalties). [26] In the final split of the 2024/25 season, they finished third and were knocked out in the quarterfinals by Kunitas (1-4). [27]

Additionally, the women’s team competed in the Queens Cup, where they advanced past the group stage but were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Las Troncas (6-5). While the men’s team has won two titles, the women’s team has yet to secure a trophy.

Reach and Achievements

[edit]

DjMaRiiO has accumulated over 10 million subscribers [28]

Following the transition from FIFA to EA SPORTS FC, the company ended its long-standing collaboration with commentators Manolo Lama and Paco González, who had been part of the franchise for over 20 years. Their replacements were DjMaRiiO himself and Miguel Ángel Román, making Mario one of the official commentators [29] for EA SPORTS FC Spain.

Personal Life

[edit]

After ending a relationship with influencer Yolanda Torres [30] in 2019, Mario began dating Noe9977 (Noelia San Martín) in 2020. The couple married in August 2025. [31] While generally discreet about his private life, DjMaRiiO has occasionally shared meaningful moments involving his family and partner.
