Deon Simone is a Jamaican artist and creative entrepreneur, known for her murals, public art projects, and cultural advocacy. She is the founder of Caribalent, an organization that amplifies Caribbean art and artists, and the Creative Director of Deon Simone Ltd..
Early life
[edit]Simone was born in Trelawny, Jamaica, and grew up in Duncans, where she developed an early interest in drawing and painting.[1]
Career
[edit]Simone has been active in Jamaica’s public art scene since the mid-2010s. She has produced numerous murals in collaboration with community and cultural initiatives, including Kingston Creative’s “Paint the City” project.
Notable works include:
- *We Are Jamaicans* – a mural in Kingston, Jamaica, where Simone served as lead artist.[2]

- *Oldies Dance Vibe & Rae Town – The Fishing Village* – a community mural completed in January 2020.[3]
- *Dung A Town* – a mural featured in Downtown Kingston’s “One Downtown” public art initiative.[4]
