Csaba Adori is an internationally recognized, Hungarian neurobiologist at the Department of Molecular Biosciences, Stockholm University, and affiliated to the Department of Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet. His research interest lies in the anatomy and pathology of the serotonergic and noradrenergic systems. In recent years, his research has focused on three-dimensional immuno-imaging and light sheet microscopy, which have yielded significant insights into the intricate cytoarchitectural organization and projections of monoaminergic neurons in both health and disease. He is awarded the 2024 Lennart Nilsson Award for his scientific 3D photography of tissues.
