Raveewit Jirapongkanon (Nickname: Boom, Thai: บม รววชญ จระพงษกานนท; born 8 August 1991), also known as Jiratpisit Jaravijit or by his Chinese name 苏伦, is a Thai actor managed by Headliner Thailand (a subsidiary of Tencent Thailand). He is best known for his leading roles in Chains of Heart (2023)[1] and Top Form (2025)[2]. Specifically, he received recognition in the BL dramas series Top Form produced by WeTV and Tailai Entertainment [3][4], which was adapted from the Japanese manga Dakaichi by Hashigo Sakurabi. [5][6] Boom became an ASICS Thailand Brand Advocate in 2021 [7] and has served as an ASICS Ambassador in Thailand from 2024 to 2025.[8][9]
Personal Life, Interests and Education
[edit]Boom was born into a Thai-Chinese family and is the youngest of three siblings with one older brother and one older sister. In one of his Instagram Live sessions in 2025, he mentioned that he is mixed-race with a Chinese father and a Thai mother. His family owns a long-established Thai-Chinese restaurant and his interests are basketball, badminton and cooking.[10]
Boom is fluent in Thai with intermediate level in English and Mandarin. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok. [11]
Career
[edit]2016–2022: Early Supporting Roles
[edit]Boom began his entertainment career by appearing in minor roles and music videos. His early acting credits include: Bad Romance: The Series (2016), My Dream The Series (2018), The Writers Project: Last Line (2018) and I Need Romance (2021).[12] He was involved with in various genres, gradually building his presence in Thai entertainment industry.
2023–2025: Expanding Roles
[edit]Boom played the leading role as Peter Lue in the BL action thriller drama Chains of Heart in 2023, which aired on Channel 3 and iQIYI .[13][14] In March 2025, Boom gained broader recognition for his portrayal of Akin in the romantic drama series Top Form.[15] His performance contributed to Top Form trending in Thailand and other territories.[16]
