BingoPlus is an online entertainment platform headquartered in Taguig City, Philippines. It is operated by AB Leisure Exponent Inc. (ABLE), a subsidiary of DigiPlus Interactive Corporation (formerly known as Leisure & Resorts World Corporation or LRWC). BingoPlus holds the distinction of being the first platform to receive an Online Traditional Bingo (OTB) license from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
History
[edit]BingoPlus began operations in 2022 following the issuance of the first Online Traditional Bingo license by PAGCOR to its parent company, Leisure & Resorts World Corporation, on January 31, 2022. This marked the formal entry of legally sanctioned online traditional bingo in the Philippines[2].
In 2023, Leisure & Resorts World Corporation (LRWC) was officially renamed DigiPlus Interactive Corporation after receiving approval from the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)[3].
On September 29, 2024, BingoPlus introduced “Pinoy Drop Ball,” a new perya game, at a launch event held at the Grand Hyatt Manila. The game was described as the first live drop ball game of its type to be launched in the Philippines[4].
Products and Services
[edit]BingoPlus offers a range of digital gaming products, including online bingo, slot games, live casino, sportsbook betting, and poker. The platform features over 1,000 e-gaming titles and includes games inspired by Filipino culture such as Bingo Mega, Bingo Rush, Color Game, and Pinoy Drop Ball, which draws from traditional perya (carnival) elements.
Brand and sponsors
[edit]On April 6, 2022, BingoPlus signed a sponsorship agreement with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), with the official signing ceremony held at the Araneta Coliseum[5]. The partnership was renewed in September 2023 during the PBA Draft Combine in Mandaluyong City[6].
BingoPlus also partnered with the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) on October 27, 2022. The agreement was formalized in a ceremony attended by PVL Director Ricky Palou and ABLE President Jasper Vicencio at the Philippine Arena[7][8].
Since 2022, BingoPlus has served as a sponsor of the MassKara Festival in Bacolod. In October 2024, the BingoPlus Foundation announced donations of medical supplies and equipment following the conclusion of the event[9].
The platform is scheduled to host the International Series Golf tournament in the Philippines for the first time in 2025. The tournament, featuring a US$2 million prize pool, is set to take place from October 23 to 26 at the Sta. Elena Golf Club in Manila[10].
Brand Ambassadors
[edit]BingoPlus has enlisted various local celebrities as brand ambassadors. Television host Luis Manzano was introduced as the first spokesperson on May 27, 2022[11]. In September 2022, actress and host Maine Mendoza became the platform’s first female brand ambassador[12].
At the 4th BingoPlus Day event held on October 7, 2023, actor Piolo Pascual was named a new brand endorser. In July 2024[13], actress Kim Chiu joined as an ambassador. During the same month, BingoPlus contributed ₱10 million in aid to communities affected by Typhoon Gaemi (Carina)[14].
Legal status
[edit]BingoPlus is the first platform in the Philippines to receive an Online Traditional Bingo license from PAGCOR. As of 2025, it is not affected by restrictions imposed on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs), and is considered compliant with domestic gaming regulations[15].
Controversies and social responsibility
[edit]Controversy
[edit]In June 2024, The Philippine Star reported that one player and three employees of BingoPlus were allegedly involved in manipulating the results of the Bingo Milyonaryo game at its SM City Cauayan branch. The incident reportedly involved an illegal jackpot win of approximately ₱3.96 million. Legal proceedings followed, and arrests were made[16].
Corporate Social Responsibility
[edit]In December 2024, DigiPlus Interactive Corporation partnered with PAGCOR to launch a national initiative promoting responsible gaming and data privacy compliance. PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco and DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco jointly emphasized the importance of player protection in the online gaming sector[17].
The BingoPlus Foundation, established in 2023, supports programs in education, disaster response, and public health. As of 2025, the foundation has disbursed over ₱150 million, reportedly benefiting more than 120,000 individuals[18]. It has received several awards, including a Silver Anvil[19] and a Gold Stevie Award for corporate social responsibility efforts[20].
Financials and user base
[edit]According to DigiPlus Interactive Corporation’s 2023 annual report, the company recorded ₱27.3 billion in revenue and ₱4.1 billion in net income, representing year-on-year growth of 306% and 596%, respectively[21].
By the end of 2024, BingoPlus had reached approximately 40 million registered users, doubling its user base from 20 million in 2023[22]
