Baghuni (ବାଘୁଣି, Dance Like a Tiger) is an upcoming Indian Odia-language drama film directed by Jitendra Mishra and produced through an international collaboration between India's NFDC, UK-based Glocal Films, and Cinema4Good. The film premiered its first look at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on 15 May 2025, marking the first presentation of an Odia film at the festival.[1]

Selected at Film Bazaar 2023 among 20 international co-productions,[4] Baghuni represents the NFDC's renewed focus on regional cinema after a 23-year hiatus in Odia productions.[5] Principal photography is scheduled for September-October 2025 across Odisha and London locations.[6]

The first look premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival's Bharat Pavilion on 15 May 2025,[7] an event curated by India's Ministry of Information & Broadcasting with FICCI and NFDC.[6] Attendees included filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and NFDC Managing Director Prakash Magdum.[6]
