Ashutosh Yadav (born 19 September 1994) is an Indian filmmaker, casting director, and line producer.[1][2] He is the founder of MHF Entertainment and has also been associated with Maa Harshiddhi Telefilms.[3][4]

Early life and education

Ashutosh Yadav was born on 19 September 1994 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.[1] He is the son of Chandu Yadav and Dr. Sunanda Yadav, and has three siblings: Krishna Yadav, Atharv Yadav, and Rachna Bhardwaj.[1][5] Krishna Yadav is noted to be active in politics.[5]

Yadav studied at Ujjain Public School and later graduated from Vikram University, Ujjain.[1][6] Influenced by his father’s involvement in Maa Harshiddhi Telefilms, he developed an early interest in filmmaking.[4][6]

Career

Yadav directed his first short film in 2010 using limited resources, which gained recognition for featuring local Ujjain talent and was praised by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.[5]

After relocating to Mumbai, he worked on films, television serials, music videos, and web series as a casting director, line producer, and production manager.[2][7][6]

He later founded MHF Entertainment, a production company that promotes emerging talent and regional content.[3][6] He also continued his association with the family banner Maa Harshiddhi Telefilms.[4][6]

Yadav is recognised for discovering and supporting new talent from smaller cities, and for efficiently managing production operations such as location scouting and budgeting.[7][4] He has expressed a vision to develop Ujjain into a film city and cultural hub.[4][6]

His work includes films such as Pyaari – Tarawali: The True Story (2023) and Docket of Dholpur (2024); television projects including Superstar – Khoj Kalakar Ki (2019) and Aashaaon Ka Savera... Dheere Dheere Se (2022–23); and music videos like Aghora, Allah Hu Allah, and Barishan Mohabbat Wali.[6] His career journey has been profiled in national and regional outlets including The Dainik Bharat.[7]

Personal life

Yadav resides in Mumbai.[1] He is described as a non-smoker and non-drinker who enjoys cooking, gym workouts, travelling, and bike riding.[1] He is also a pet lover.[1] He maintains an active presence on social media, with over 10,000 Instagram followers where he shares project insights and interacts with audiences.[1][6]
