Anger Denial Acceptance is the fourth and final studio album by American metal band Spineshank. It was released on June 19, 2012, through Century Media Records. This album marked the return of Spineshank after a hiatus. The album blends alternative metal, industrial, and nu metal styles, and includes the single "Nothing Left for Me".

Chart performance
[edit]Anger Denial Acceptance peaked at number 20 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart in June 2012, where it remained for one week. There is no record of it placing on the Billboard 200, US Heatseekers, or mainstream UK Albums chart.[1]
Critical reception
[edit]Anger Denial Acceptance received generally positive feedback from music critics.
- Metal Revolution** praised its heavier, more mature sound and scored it 80%, drawing comparisons to Pantera and Machine Head.[2]
- Sea of Tranquility** called it "competent," citing solid songwriting and engaging hooks despite familiar territory.[3]
- SonicAbuse** highlighted the band’s renewed maturity and spot-on arrangements.[4]
- Screamer Magazine** described the album as “much heavier than any of Spineshank’s previous material” and called it truly “dark.”[5]
- Metal Forces Magazine** highlighted "Exit Wounds (Acceptance)" as a standout closer and noted the band’s sound had “far outgrown their childish beginnings.”[6]
- ThePRP** called the record a “return-to-form,” praising its emotional intensity and energy.[7]
