Dizon was later designated Chief Regional Staff and Deputy Regional Director for Operations of Police Regional Office 1. In 2021, he was appointed Senior Executive Assistant to PNP Chief Dionardo Carlos. Carlos later appointed him Director of the PNP Aviation Security Group.[2]

In December 2023, Dizon assumed command of Police Regional Office 5 (Bicol).[1] Under his leadership, the region reported a drop in crime volume in early 2024,[10] and the seizure of multi-million peso illegal drugs in separate operations.[11][12]

As of July 2025, he was serving as Director of the Philippine National Police Academy.[13]
