Career

[edit]

Haditaghi is the founder and Executive Chairman of Pacific Mortgage Group, the parent company of Radius Financial, one of Canada’s largest non-bank mortgage lenders.[1][2][3][4]

Earlier in his career, he founded MortgageBrokers.com, which was recognized by PROFIT Magazine as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies, and later led Pacific Mortgage Group to be listed on the PROFIT 200 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.[5][6][7]

In recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements, Ernst & Young named Haditaghi a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Ontario region.[8]

Real estate and international ventures

[edit]

Haditaghi has expanded into international real estate, with development projects in Greece, Spain, and Canada.[9][10]

Among these projects is the Hamptons Greece, a luxury beachfront resort and villa development near Kavala, designed to promote sustainable tourism and foreign investment in northern Greece.[9]

He has also been associated with MoneyLogix, a company involved in real-estate acquisitions in Ontario, including registered holdings and share-purchase agreements.[11][12]

Football involvement

[edit]

AO Kavala

[edit]

In 2021, Haditaghi became involved with the Greek football club AO Kavala (AOK / ΑΟ Καβάλα).[13] During this period, he was reported as an investor in the region through his development company and real-estate projects connected to Kavala.[14][15]

Pogoń Szczecin

[edit]

In March 2025, Haditaghi completed a takeover of Pogoń Szczecin, one of Poland’s oldest football clubs, in what several outlets described as a last-minute intervention that prevented the club from entering bankruptcy.[16][17]

The transaction was finalized after urgent negotiations, with club communications describing the deal as securing the club’s immediate financial survival.[17]

Following the acquisition, Haditaghi gave interviews outlining his aims to stabilize finances, modernize football operations, and expand the club’s youth academy.[18][19]

Since the takeover, Polish broadcaster TVP and club media have reported operational changes and new managerial appointments under his ownership.[17]

Reception

[edit]

Haditaghi’s takeover of Pogoń Szczecin received coverage from international sports-business media and football databases including Transfermarkt.[20][21] Polish sports press reported mixed reactions from fans and commentators, ranging from praise for rescuing the club to questions about the long-term viability of his plans.[22]

Public profile

[edit]

Haditaghi maintains public social-media accounts used to communicate with fans and announce business activities.[23][24]
