48th season of the German endurance series
The 2025 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie is the 48th season of the German endurance series (formerly VLN) run at the Nürburgring Nordschleife , and sixth run as the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS).[ 1] The season began on 22 March and will end on 11 October.
In 2025, the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie will introduce "NLS Light," a special 4-hour race that, for the first time, will exclude vehicles from the SP9, SPX, SP-Pro, and CUP 2 classes.[ 2] Additionally, the two Nürburgring 24 Hours Qualifying Races will once again be included as part of the NLS season.[ 3]

Championship standings [ edit ]
For drivers classification, points are awarded based on race duration, position in class, and number of starters in class. At the end of the season, the best seven races will count for the championship and the rest will be dropped; however, disqualifications or race bans cannot be dropped.[ 53]
In case of a driver entering for multiple cars in a race, they should nominate which car should they score points from; otherwise they automatically score from the car with the lowest start number.
