Request For Comment: "Piracy" on Copyright Infringement
Greetings, I am looking for people interested in copyright and piracy to respond to my request to remove what I believe to be cherrypicked information from the copyright infringement page, citing a source from 1603 as evidence that copyright infringers were called "pirates" before the 19th century.
I don't personally understand a man waxing poetic in 17th century English, but maybe one of you do. I also tagged the Law and Linguistic RFCs.
