I don't think this is a good idea for the same reason that those earlier navigational pages were not a good idea. The "plus" is very minimal. The cons are larger, and the way this is written it seems like a "pseudo" page for things that fail notability guidelines for people and lists. In most cases, anyone with multiple notable creative works will be notable, so this is tilted towards the very few that don't (minor internet figures where people are more resistant to applying NCREATIVE) and be useless anywhere else. Notability is addressed, but how such a page interacts with WP:V should also be included, as that is unclear. None of the examples have citations despite containing text like: Complexly is an American online video and audio production company founded by the Green brothers, John and Hank, based in Indianapolis, which would necessitate some form of verification within a typical article. Are the sourcing requirements intended to be more inter-page WP:LEADCITE or WP:LISTVERIFY? fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 07:40, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Aquaveo can be another example. GZWDer (talk) 15:58, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I'm still not seeing the utility. The number of non-notable topics with notable subtopics is vanishingly small, and of the examples given Neal Agarwal ended up being notable, Complexly would be better served by a redirect to Green brothers#Complexly, and Cary and Michael Huang and Aquaveo are two-item lists that go against WP:ONEOTHER. --Ahecht (TALK

I guess the real question here is how much advantage this offers over this. 184.152.65.118 (talk) 18:33, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Road-related examples exist, although they are classified as set index articles: U.S. Route 32, Wisconsin Highway 41, and Wisconsin Highway 51. AlphaBeta135talk 13:41, 4 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison with “outline” articles?

[edit]

The two concepts seem somewhat similar. It might be worth explaining the distinction. Anne drew (talk · contribs) 17:31, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
