Vendeuvre (French pronunciation: [vɑ̃dœvʁ] ⓘ) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.
Geography
[edit]The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Favières, Pont and Vendeuvre.[3]
Two rivers The Dives and The Perrières are the watercourses that run through the commune.[4][5] Le Douit du Houle stream also runs through the commune.[6]

[edit]The commune has five sites listed as a Monument historique.[7]
- Château de Vendeuvre - an eighteenth centaury Chateau and gardens listed as a monument in 1970.[8] It is open to the public and features a Miniature furniture museum.[9]
- Château de Grisy - a sixteenth centaury chateau listed as a monument in 1953.[10]
- Cross - an eleventh centaury Wayside cross that was listed as a monument in 1903.[11]
- Église Saint-Brice de Grisy - a twelfth centaury church listed as a monument in 1928.[12]
- The Vavasseurie-au-Cerf - a sixteenth centaury farm listed as a monument in 1980.[13]
