Seasons, years, episodes in infobox
[edit]In this edit summary you wrote that seasons, years and episodes should not be included in television infoboxes. While I agree with this (any reason to cut down on overstuffed infoboxes can only be a good thing), I wondered if this is spelled out in policy or guidelines somewhere? Barry Wom (talk) 11:29, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Barry Wom: It is on some parameters on {{Infobox television}} only, but I have been told by multiple veteran editors that it (
seasons, years and episodes should not be included in television infoboxes
) generally applies to all the parameters on {{Infobox television}} because extraneous details belong on the body of a television article, not the infobox. It is a common and standard practice to not included seasons, years and episodes on the television infoboxes. — YoungForever(talk) 15:47, 29 October 2025 (UTC)- Thanks! All's Fair directors
[edit]Hi! So my sources to credit Anthony Hemingway and Crystle Roberson as directors are the reality show The Kardashians. How do I write that? AGV1990 (talk) 23:28, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
- @AGV1990: You need to find reliable sources that explicitly say they directed the episodes on All's Fair. We cannot take your words that they directed the specific episodes. — YoungForever(talk) 23:37, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
- It's not "my words". If you see the reality show you see the clapperboard of episode 10 with Roberson's name on it and you see Hemingway actually directing episode 9. AGV1990 (talk) 10:54, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
Good work
[edit]Good work on your articles about TV shows. You've made a lot of articles about shows I've recently enjoyed. Currently watching High Potential and looking at the talk page (as I love to do) led me to your profile. Nicely job!!! I aspire to be inspired enough to make an article. It seems so overwhelming haha ~ iFish12 (talk) (contribs) 18:55, 8 November 2025 (UTC)
- I recommend reading MOS:TV, WP:TV, and WP:NFTV. A television series article must meet the requirements of WP:GNG and WP:NFTV in order to warrant the TV article. — YoungForever(talk) 21:23, 8 November 2025 (UTC)

Articles for Creation backlog drive
[edit]
Hello YoungForever:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 3000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:07, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
- If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page.
Untitled Steve Carell/HBO TV series
[edit]Hello,
I noticed you’ve had better experience than me when it comes to creating and improving Wikipedia articles related to television shows. Therefore, would you be interested in helping me improve this draft I’m working on? It would be much appreciated. The Film Creator (talk) 12:47, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
