Your submission at Articles for creation: Ásta Sigurðardóttir (October 30)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Drmies was:
The subject is no doubt notable but there are other problems here. I signaled these in an edit summary but they were not addressed. In short, the whole thing needs an overhaul, for neutral language but also for formatting issues, I see now: dates are linked, book titles need to be italicized, there are bare URLs for some of the references, capitalization in section headings, etc. etc. And then there is the sourcing: of the first four, one is clearly acceptable (but not accessible to me), but the other three are basically just internet blurbs on questionable websites that don't add anything to what the Literary Encyclopedia already offers. And then there's a bunch of totally unsourced paragraphs. All this can be done by editing judiciously, with perhaps a few cuts.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
