User scripts

Many different things on Wikipedia can be simplified, automated, or customized with user scripts. For example, you can create scripts to automate different vandalism warnings, perform an AfD nomination, or display the current time in a place of your choosing.

Many scripts have been written by Wikipedians, and are ready for you to make use of. To enable these pre-made scripts, simply paste them into your common.js file (a user's common.js is loaded regardless of which skin they are using). You may have to purge the page before the script will load for the first time.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Darien Sutton (June 15)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Josve05a were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
The subject's notability is not clearly established with significant coverage in reliable, secondary sources. The article relies heavily on primary sources and mentions from media appearances, which may not sufficiently demonstrate notability per Wikipedia's guidelines. Some references are weak or non-independent, such as social media and primary sources. More independent, reliable secondary sources are needed.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Wikipedian339. Thank you for your work on Crime Victims Treatment Center. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for creating this page about a rape crisis centre - one with a significant history and coming up to 50 years! It's appropriately referenced and clear.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Klbrain thank you SO much for your comment! This really made my day that you left such a positive comment. I'm sure you're already in the habit of this, but I just want to say please keep leaving editors positive messages like this; it means a lot! :) Wikipedian339 (talk) 12:53, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! from Piperium (chit-chat, i did that) at 23:06, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the heads up, @Piperium! I wasn't ultimately able to find any more news articles about him after it's first rejection in AfC. (And I think I've learned a lot more since then about what is necessary to have a page be accepted as article-worthy.) I think he may be on his way up in notability and may get a page at some point, but I don't personally have anything I've found to help make that case any stronger right now. So, I'm letting that page go. But thank you again for giving me a warning/a heads up! Have a great day! Wikipedian339 (talk) 04:08, 1 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I was just patrolling the G13 soon page and throwing around CSD’s willy-nilly—no harsh feelings on you specifically! I too have started on drafts and have never been able to complete them. Hopefully more outlets write about Sutton, as it would be great to have a dedicated article for him. Have a great day! from Piperium (chit-chat, i did that) at 06:38, 1 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
