@MPGuy2824: Taret means "seven" and thus means Seven clans or Salai 7. Yek means lineage, it is just used with Salai to show that each clan has its own lineage. Victor Ningthemcha (talk) 11:35, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Try not to use database-type sites for pieces of information like the pincode or school data. A primary source like the post office or the education department is good enough. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 14:03, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Chit Sai

Hello Victor Ningthemcha, thanks for expanding the Chit Sai/Ajit Sai page. However, it is not recommended to duplicate an existing topic under a new title. You need to file a move request as described in WP:RM. In this particular case, I don't see any clear reason to prefer one name over the other. So I suggest you leave the page title as it is.

Secondly, any historical content has to be sourced to WP:HISTRS. These are hard to find for history of Manipur. So please be very careful in using the sources. We need plenty of corroboration for any contentious matters such as a judgement like "usurper king". Also, please be sure to include page numbers in citations.
