Yes, Hello Piscili, I think you made a major mistake. The page explicitly state that the name “Chaldean” was nothing but a linguistic or denominational term, not ethnic. A certain user (I think it’s you) added that modern Chaldeans are the their own ethnic group, “mistaken for Assyrians” which is factually incorrect. I provided multiple credible sources from universities like Oxford and Cambridge, as well as historical ones, which clearly refutes and disprove the “Chaldean ethnicity” misunderstanding. Even the catholic encyclopedia acknowledges that “modern Chaldeans” are nothing but Ethnic Assyrians who adhere to the Catholic faith. The user’s sources are not credible enough, nor do most of them relate to the actual topic from what I personally read. Also, in other sections of the page, they make this clear already. So by keeping these blatant lies, you’re also contradicting what the rest of the page says. Anyhow, I feel like it’s only the right thing to do by reverting back the edit I made.
