- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Doug Weller talk 11:50, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Wikipedia:Village pump (idea lab)# the sections "Facts about yourself" and "Interests" that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 11:51, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- I didn't want to evolve this topic. Moreover, it has already been archived. And no one will change anything.
- But even if I consider Doug Weller's call for mutual respect to be unfair. However, it will remain on my page. I have no right to delete it. I will answer with my other answer -- User talk:Phil Bridger - Wikipedia
- If you are interested, understand this situation from the very beginning. Seregadu (talk) 16:59, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
