Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Request reason:

I respectfully request a review of my block. The account was flagged as a sockpuppet, but I would like to clarify that my brother previously used Wikipedia; however, he has since moved to Dubai and no longer edits here. I created this account independently, and all contributions made from it are solely my own work. I kindly ask for reconsideration and an opportunity to continue editing constructively. Thank you. Sdani14 (talk) 04:27, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action, or you have not responded to questions raised during that time. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 22:53, 30 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Sorry, what does your brother have to do with any of this? --DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:26, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing
Thank you for your reply. The reason I mentioned my brother is because another user, Syed hameed hussain.S, had previously mentioned my brother’s name, and I thought that might be why my account was mistaken for a sockpuppet. To clarify, this account belongs only to me, and I am the sole person using it. My brother no longer edits Wikipedia, and I understand that his past activity is separate from mine. I will edit only under this account and follow Wikipedia’s policies. Thank you for reconsidering. Sdani14 (talk) 08:05, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't quite follow. In any case, I'm not saying anyone else is using this account other than you, so that's not the point.
Let me ask a slightly different question: which other accounts have you used, besides this one? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:46, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing
Thank you for clarifying the question. This is the only account I have ever used on Wikipedia. I have not created or edited with any other accounts. All my contributions are made only from this account. Sdani14 (talk) 04:13, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

To any admin reviewing this, as you'll see further down the page, the socking has now been confirmed by CU. --DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:04, 30 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DoubleGrazing, I noticed that my draft Draft:SIP Academy India was deleted. I understand the concerns about advertising and previous deletion. I would like to request your guidance and, if possible, a temporary restoration of the draft in my Draft space so that I can work on improving it according to Wikipedia’s notability and neutrality guidelines. Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sdani14 (talk) 04:38, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Syed hameed hussain.S per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Syed hameed hussain.S. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
