- Thank you for your message regarding my draft article on Amon Temple (Siwa). I appreciate your commitment to upholding Wikipedia's copyright policies.
- I would like to clarify that the content in my draft was translated from a French Wikipedia page [2], and I did not copy it from the website you mentioned. I aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic while adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines.
- If there are specific sections of the draft that you believe violate copyright or need further modification, I would appreciate your guidance on how to address those concerns. I am committed to revising the article to ensure it meets Wikipedia's standards.
- Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to your response. Rocher54 (talk) 19:38, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- When copying from one Wikipedia page to another, or when copying from Wikipedia in a different language, it's important that you say in an edit summary that the material is copied/translated and to specify where you got it. This not only helps patrollers, this attribution is required under the terms of our license. You have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. There's also an optional template
{{translated page}}
that can be added to the talk page. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying/translating between Wikipedias in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:56, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
