Hello, my name is Charlotte – feel free to call me that, QoH, Queen, or anything else, as long as it's clear who you're referring to. Can you tell that pink is my favorite color?
I live near Baltimore, Maryland, U.S., and I am interested in the history of Maryland, politics, law enforcement, crime, and the intersection of those things. I have been an administrator since November 2024; I mainly use the tools at the deletion venues. I have also written quite a few articles, including five good articles (1 nominated) and 16 did you knows.
If you need to contact me, please start a new section and sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~). I am also available via email (queen.of.hearts.wikipedia
gmail), or via the email this user feature if you have an email connected to your Wikipedia account. I am also active in (and a moderator of) the Wikimedia Discord server; my username is aqueenofhearts
.
I was considering bumping it up myself. There wasn't a rash of specific vandalism, but lots of edit warring going on, especially over the image to use. It was getting told. I kept clicking "next edit" and it seemed like every third edit was changing the main image. Tiresome. Good call. --Hammersoft (talk) 17:42, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Geez. And now people are fighting over dmy or mdy dates <facepalm> --Hammersoft (talk) 17:48, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- (apologies for late reply) Yep, there weren't any specific issues, but just "too many cooks in the kitchen" and ton of (perhaps inadvertent) back-and-forth. charlotte 👸♥ 02:13, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I believe new user User:GeniVekaGV is the same as blocked user User:GeniVeka.-Bogger (talk) 07:48, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Sorry for never replying to this Bogger – they're locked now. charlotte 👸♥ 02:13, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Literally all statistics about the supposed/potential 2025 recession are wrong. the 39% statistic is derived from a prediction of job losses worldwide due to AI by 2030 that was cataloged in early January (prior to Trump being sworn in), and a lot of links are from articles in 2021/2022. Please fix this or remove the section until credible sources are found. Maddox121 ForgotHisPassword (talk) 17:45, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Maddox121 ForgotHisPassword, it has been removed now, although for future reference this is a content dispute that is best fit for that article's talk page. charlotte 👸♥ 02:13, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have nominated Bæddel and bædling for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regards to the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 23:04, 4 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
