Gettysburg Address

[edit]

Hi, PloniAlmoni, I liked the Sandburg quotation, but I don't think it belongs in the middle of the introduction (it is, after all, just one man's opinion of Lincoln, even though he is a significant scholar of Lincoln). See the talk page if you have comments about this, and thanks for your contribution! Kaisershatner (talk) 13:51, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pauli and the neutrino

Hello, PloniAlmoni. Thank you for your question over at Talk:The God Particle: If the Universe Is the Answer, What Is the Question?. I really enjoyed answering it. And I am glad to see your interest in this article. You can read my reply, under your question. Ti-30X (talk) 23:31, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ciudad Juarez

[edit]

I have removed the nuclear accident text. It is too long for an article on the town, see WP:UNDUE. You were resting it on a single source, which is not good practice. It doesn't read encyclopedically, it reads like a newspaper account, and the spelling and grammar need improvement. A short and well sourced couple of lines might be appropriate for the main article. If you want to include it in more detail, a separate article would be needed, but only if you can prove it is WP:NOTABLE.

Proposed deletion of Chazante

[edit]

The article Chazante has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a Dictionary, this entry would be better off in Wiktionary

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tim1357 (talk) 01:16, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Black Sea deluge theory. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Gabriel Kielland (talk) 12:35, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that revert, I didn't notice that the 4th octet of the IP was different. I though I rollbacked to the version by Materialscientist. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 17:46, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Judaeo-Spanish, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Highland Park (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Renaissance composers may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Zaidee Parkinson moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Zaidee Parkinson, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Zaidee Parkinson, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:38, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Zaidee Parkinson

[edit]

Hello, PloniAlmoni. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Zaidee Parkinson".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 22:00, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
