As of the time I am writing to you and up to today, there is no conflict of interest between myself and Michele Vincenti, as he lives and works in a different country from mine with an ocean and a 9-hour time difference in between. I have personally met him — just like hundreds of other prominent individuals from around the world — through various institutional activities carried out by my think tank. I do not receive any compensation for writing or editing these entries, as my professional work, as an economist and geopolitical analyst, lies in other areas. Professor Vincenti, like many other stakeholders who have passed through my city, is simply one of the many notable figures I believe should be included.
P.S.: I am currently implementing all the requested edits, trimming down the article as you suggested. Share with you soon. Regards, PT Pierluigi Testa (talk) 14:18, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for responding. The fact that you have met this person would you suggest you do have a conflict of interest, although it could be a fairly low level one (see the linked page which clearly says Any external relationship can trigger a conflict of interest.) More significantly, you have included in the article information about the person that does not seem to appear in the sources cited. For example, you have included middle names, whereas none of the sources cited used anything other than his first and last name. Can you please clarify where you got this information from? Thank you Melcous (talk) 21:13, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
