Feedback

[edit]

It's probable better if I reply here rather than on my talk page.

The reference is fine but perhaps in the wrong place. Try putting it at the end of the clause - after the comma. If possible, you should also find a reference for him being awarded the Explorers Medal and put that at the end of the sentence.

You're not going to be able to add a link to jump exactly to his name (well actually you can but with your editing experience so far I'm not going to explain it as it's fairly complex). A link to the The Explorers Club is fine, or you can make it slightly more specific by linking to the Honors section here he is mentioned by adding [[The Explorers Club#Honors]] instead. This will produce The Explorers Club#Honors. Now that looks somewhat ungainly so you can improve it by using a Wikipedia:Piped link e.g. [[The Explorers Club#Honors|The Explorers Club]] which still links to the Honors section but only shows the article title - The Explorers Club. I made the changes that you suggested, I hope I got it correct.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
Thank you,
