Your submission at Articles for creation: CHASER (December 20)
[edit]
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
- in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject)
- reliable
- secondary
- independent of the subject
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Interviews do not indicate notability. Please clean up the extensive puffery in the "History" section before resubmitting.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:CHASER and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.

- Hi @Somepinkdude, thanks for your review. This is my first-ever Wikipedia article, so I'm learning the ropes. I understand that artist interviews don't necessarily indicate notability. I guess I used the interviews when trying to convey the band's earliest history (no one knows the band's history better than the band! - 1st hand knowledge). But I understand that those sources don't contribute to the 'notability' measure that is required. I will dig back into my resources and find more external sources to show the band has some notability. Also, I've been working on the narrative 'tone', so that it's not fluffy/peacocky. It'll take me some time, but I'll get back to it. I'm also working on sourcing a photo that can be released to Wikicommons for free/public use, license-free.
