Hans Fruhstorfer
[edit]Hi! It appears that you are the person to have initiated and added the most edits to the article on Hans Fruhstorfer, so I thought that I would reach out to you. If I am mistaken for having done so, please accept my apologies and disregard the following.
Hans Fruhstorfer was my great grandfather and I have for years been trying to obtain some sort of information on him as much of his past has been a big giant mystery for me my entire life. Even my father knew very little about him. We know that throughout his many journeys and travels, he somehow managed to accumulate a great fortune, for example, but no one in my family can tell me how or from whence he came about this fortune. According to my father, "he went to South America and came back a very rich man." That's about it.
I will be honest with you, his work doesn't interest me as much as his personal life does. I would like to learn more about him and his antecedents in Passau and his life in general. You seem to have access to information about him, and I would like to request that perhaps you might be able to give me some resources where I might be able to begin to do some research on his life. My German is very rudimentary at best, but I imagine that almost everything one would find on him would only be in German and I am quite ok with that.
If you can help me with some information on where to look for resources on his life and family, I would be eternally grateful to you. Thank you in advance.
Alejandro Fruhstorfer de Montalban
