The Fugitive (Season 1)

[edit]

In your edit, the "no. in season" for the two part ""Never Wave Goodbye" has the numbers as "4 & N/A" instead of "4 & 5". Even if some sockpuppet edited it, their not wrong about it. 4.16.93.150 (talk) 17:46, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A Clockwork Orange's influence on haute couture

[edit]

Hi, I saw that you recently undid my edit on the article for A Clockwork Orange. I have also seen your note that the content does not seem notable, and I wanted to discuss that -- what basis is notability founded upon? Though fashion and live performances may not be a particular area of interest to some people, they are to many others. I think that both remain a crucial part of culture, mirroring the part in the section about the film "aesthetically" significant. Singer Madonna and designer Jean Paul Gaultier are arguably pioneers in their respective fields, who have shaped the current landscape of culture significantly (while Wikipedia is sorely inadequate in the field of haute couture, there are individual articles dedicated to explaining Madonna's cultural impact and fashion, as well as more "minor" things such as her business, fashion brand ventures and the phenomenon of "wannabe" impersonators of Madonna)

I am hoping to retain this part with enhancements to its content. I concede that, perhaps, the examples of Madonna and Jean Paul Gaultier may be too few to fully justify the grand impact the film has had on culture. I am wondering if it would be better to mention the film's influence on additional figures such as David Bowie and Jun Takahashi in their art?

I hope you see where I am coming from! As someone with background in couture and music media archiving, it is important to me that the film's influence on these areas be represented. Thanks! Gaultieresque (talk) 02:30, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I would suggest discussing this on the talk page of the article. Please also read the guidelines as to what constitutes a minor edit, as any addition of content shouldn't be marked as minor. NEDOCHAN (talk) 08:29, 16 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Trainspotting

[edit]

Hi,

I've reverted your recent changes to the synopsis for Trainspotting as the version you wish to restore to unfortunately exceeds the word count requirements as set out in MOS:FILMPLOT, largely due to it containing unnecessary, trivial details for a synopsis (such as the exact nightclub featured in the film). If you wish to make minor changes that is of course fine, but the overall wordcount needs to remain under 700 words. Rambling Rambler (talk) 21:55, 1 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong place. Your rewrite contains a lot of errors. I'll fix it when I get a moment. NEDOCHAN (talk) 21:57, 1 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
When it's one other editor a user talk page is perfectly fine. And I didn't claim the rewrite was perfect, but it was more about getting it within word count imperfectly rather than being over the word count imperfectly. Rambling Rambler (talk) 22:07, 1 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Jon Jones

[edit]

Hey @NEDOCHAN, I’ve reverted your edit at Jon Jones as there is more than enough reliable sources. Can you please explain your edit summary comment of "but sources don’t support the claim that he is widely regarded as 'the' greatest" when they clearly do. GOAT Bones231012 (talk) 13:05, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello mate. Formally, I should add that per BRD you should really open a discussion when reverted, especially when the version I restored has been in situ for some time. I'll restore the version and open up a conversation on the tp per WP:STATUSQUO. NEDOCHAN (talk) 13:31, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As I’ve said on your talk page, all the sources listed claim that he is 'the' greatest so I’m totally confused by your initial edit summary. GOAT Bones231012 (talk) 13:44, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There are also may that don't :). Discussion opened in any case... NEDOCHAN (talk) 13:44, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
