Please help me with...
How do you save while working on an article? I only see a publish button. It's not ready to publish. MushroomHill (talk) 13:37, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- The "save" button was relabelled "publish", because some people thought they were saving work locally and did not realise that others could see it.
- If you have something not-ready-for-publication, you can "publish" it in your user space, as User:MushroomHill/sandbox or User:MushroomHill/Foo bar, for example; or as a draft article (e.g. Draft:Foo bar).
- But remember, others can see it.
- Also, I note that you said elsewhere that you wanted to write about yourself. This rarely works; see WP:Autobiography. If you do go ahead, follow the requirements at WP:COI. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 14:04, 29 August 2025 (UTC)

- Yes, in that it is online and can be found by people who know where to, look, but it's not an "article" if the name begins with "Draft:", "User:" or some similar terms.
