Your submission at Articles for creation: Jazz Anderson (January 11)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Lacypaperclip was:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Draft contains many reference sources including networth.com and IMDB used in body of article. Notability is not inherited and there is too much about the famous parents. At the least remove the parents from the lead, and instead use that spot to tell why the subject is notable. Refer to WP:RS to learn about reliable sources. You may ask any questions here or even at my talk page. Good luck with the draft.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Jazz Anderson (January 12)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Lacypaperclip was:
This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject—see the guidelines on the notability of people, the golden rule and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and Help:Introduction to referencing/1), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Jazz Anderson (March 14)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Primefac was:
Most of Anderson's notability seems to come from her celebrity mother, or events related to that fame (such as receiving a TV-special birthday party). Notability cannot be inherited, and this leaves us with her rap career. I think there might be something there, but at the moment the references are all either name drops (listing her in a group of performing artists) or very short one- or two-paragraph articles. We need significant coverage, so please add additional independent reliable sources that discuss the subject in detail..

The other main issue with this draft is that it's overly promotional in tone. Phrases like "Putting lyricism in the forefront..." and "...laced up her basketball sneakers again to participate..." are not the proper tone to have for an encyclopedia. If you are going to quote someone (e.g. 97.9) then the quote should be "in quotes".

In summary - please add a few more reliable sources, and clean up the promotional language.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Deletion discussion about Jazz Anderson

[edit]

Hello, Monkeyc128,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Jazz Anderson should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jazz Anderson .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,
