Hello, I'm OutsideNormality. An edit that you recently made to Rahim Sopori seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. OutsideNormality (talk) 18:22, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- hey, thank you for your message, a large langauge model was used to check grammatical issues in the text! everything has been well researched from sources and oral traditions about him!
- i assure you everything is we;; read and reasearched and not generated from a large language model! MateenSalimBhat (talk) 18:32, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

The article Rahim Sopori has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Heavy use of promotional language (though not quite at G11 level); likely AI-generated.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 16:52, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Nomination of Rahim Sopori for deletion
[edit]The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rahim Sopori until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.Sushidude21! (talk) 04:36, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- Please note that you are not allowed to make edits about Indian military history or about social groups and castes until you have reached 500 edits and an account age of 30 days. This means that you cannot make edits like those that you have made on Shah Mir dynasty and Battle of Sutlej, as these are within the scope of Indian military history. MCE89 (talk) 16:04, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- about the shah mir dynasty, sure but how do i know how many edits i've made? And also i made the page for battle of Sutlej, so yah i might sometimes find something to add, so i do! MateenSalimBhat (talk) 16:11, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- You can see how many edits you've made by going to Special:Contributions/MateenSalimBhat, or by clicking on "User contributions" on the right-hand ribbon while you're on your userpage or talk page (right now you have made 111 edits). Sorry, but you aren't allowed to make any edits related to Indian military history at all until you have reached 500 edits, including making any further edits to Battle of Sutlej. If you make breach that restriction after being warned, you're at risk of being blocked from editing, or having your extended-confirmed status revoked so that you don't gain that right automatically at 500 edits anymore.
- I know this all probably sounds very strict, but these restrictions have had to be put in place due to a history of disruptive editing in this topic area. The good news is that there are plenty of other topics that you can edit about instead to build up your experience on Wikipedia. Let me know if you'd like some suggestions of some other tasks that you could try out. MCE89 (talk) 16:57, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank You Very Much, i will focus on my field of Sufism. MateenSalimBhat (talk) 16:58, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

[edit]
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Shah Mir dynasty. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Sutyarashi (talk) 05:29, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- It wasn't disruptive or unclear, i literally made the boundary from what was written by Mohd din Fouq in his History of Kashmir. MateenSalimBhat (talk) 05:34, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- Your additions were unsourced. Especially the map. Also you're not allowed to edit topics under Indian history or castes until you become an extended confirmed user. Sutyarashi (talk) 05:43, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
