Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by S0091 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Also, WAMI awards do not convey notability. Discogs and Folklib are not reliable sources so should not be used.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Max and the Invaders (November 1)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by M4V3R1CK32 was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
I have read through the WP:NMG points made on the Talk page. I do not believe the draft clears that threshold for the following reasons:

1. Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself.

The draft is composed primarily of primary sources in the form of press releases and WAMI award listings. The independent articles cited from OnMilwaukee, the Journal Sentinel, and Shepherd Express do not meet the requirements of this guideline.

Q&A articles, like OnMilwaukee's, specifically do not count toward notability per point 1 of WP:NMG.

The Shepherd Express article does not cite an author, and clearly interjects opinion into its bit about this band. Alt-weeklies generally don't establish notability.

The JS article likely has what is needed to be the beginning of a good Wikipedia article; however, because there is only one cited source which also meets sourcing requirements, the draft does not pass NMG on point 1.

2. Has become one of the most prominent representatives of a notable style or the most prominent of the local scene of a city; note that the subject must still meet all ordinary Wikipedia standards, including verifiability.

Current sourcing which meets WP:RS guidelines does not establish this band as meeting this requirement.

For these reasons, I do not believe this article meets notability requirements and am declining the draft.
