[edit] Hello, I'm Spotemgottem. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Architectural photography—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. Spotemgottem (talk) 15:53, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- That was not promotional, PFRE is a legit real estae organization for photographers in that field and should be mentioned. 100% disagree with whatever you are saying. It MAY be promotional for them but regarless it should be listed as much as the other orgs are. I am NOT covvected with them. Lin-Manuel McButtbacon (talk) 16:01, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you Karen. 166.70.241.67 (talk) 00:13, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Architectural photography. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Spotemgottem (talk) 15:57, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- What EXACT:Y was promotional and NOT factual? Lin-Manuel McButtbacon (talk) 16:02, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- This edit of yours is distinctly promotional in tone, and very far removed from the neutral tone we expect in our articles. Further, before you attempt to add this sort of material again, please start a discussion at the article's talk page to gain consensus before adding it. If you have questions, let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 02:05, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
