Hello, JonRichfield, and Welcome to Wikipedia!
As you have just started editing, I hope you find the following selection of links helpful and that they provide you with some ideas for how to get the best out of Wikipedia.

- Thank you so much, but I have already submitted some articles and edits.
- Not so many lately, because of RL pressures, but there have been many changes to the WP interface since I last created an article, and whether they are improvements or not, they are very confusing. The response to my latest entry was particularly frustrating, because, instead of offering me the option of creating the new title, or even indicating the source of the existing redirection, it left me jumping through hoops, after which I was incorrectly informed that the entry for Paralysis tick already exists. It does not, but without a redirect, it takes one to the wrong article without going via a redirect, and the AI assistance, or whatever it might be, is counter-functional in such a connection.
- I would appreciate some indication of how to proceed in such a case, and suggesting that I start in my sandbox is not it!
- Thanks for the attention,

Thanks for creating Aspidopleres, JonRichfield!
Wikipedia editor Animalparty just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Note that monotypic taxa should generally be discussed along with their parent, per WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA, i.e. in a genus such as this, the sole species should be a redirect.
