In-person Volunteer Offer
[edit]Hello!
I recently stumbled on your class with the WikiEdu program when a student evaluated a GA article I rewrote (and apparently it was mentioned in class?). By chance, I will be attending Virginia Tech next year and wanted to reach out. As a mentor and a user with several GA and DYK articles, I wanted to make myself available if the class would like any experienced editors in-person. I reached out to the Wikimedia point of contact, and I was referred to you.

LLM use by your student(s)
[edit]Hello Jdubmhc, I've reverted Diff/1328403696 by Josie Whitehouse, who appears to be a student in your course. The edit contains clear signs of LLM usage, most likely ChatGPT. Ian (Wiki Ed), also making you aware since you are listed on the project page. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 18:12, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
