The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you could kindly, please at your possible earliest convenience inform me as to how to report an issue with a harassing user, how to avoid their misguided discrepancies, inform them as to the definition of certain words, such as disruptive (among others) & how to inform others about proper communication. Election results: In our December 2025 coordinator election, Wracking stepped down as coordinator; we thank them for their service. Incumbents Dhtwiki, Miniapolis, and Mox Eden were reelected coordinators, and IQR and WikiEditor5678910 were newly elected coordinator, to serve through 30 June. Nominations for our mid-year Election of Coordinators will open on 1 June (UTC).
Drive: 55 editors signed up for our January Backlog Elimination Drive 33 claimed at least one copy-edit and copy-edited 611,404 words in 237 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.
Blitz: 14 editors signed up for our February Copy Editing Blitz. 10 claimed at least one copy-edit and copy-edited 46,749 words in 18 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.

Yorkshire Day
Happy Yorkshire Day to all our members. The official honour this year is a joint one between Bradford, as part of its' Year of Culture celebrations, and Ilkley. Thanks to all for looking after the Yorkshire articles that we support as a project. Would be good if more members would get involved in improving the articles and in fixing the various problems flagged on the articles.

Wiki Loves Monuments
Thanks to all who took part in the annual Wiki Loves Monuments to get some photographs of listed buildings. There was 67 photographs of Yorkshire submitted during the month. North Yorkshire had the most at 34, followed by West Yorkshire with 32, South Yorshire manage just 1 while the East Riding of Yorkshire did not submit any photographs.
