Whoever did that thank you. I had wanted to do that but couldn't understand how to get it. Invasive Spices (talk) 26 January 2022 (UTC)

Blowup is an interesting choice of words. That film inspired The Conversation and othersab. That makes me curious why this term was used. Invasive Spices (talk) 23 January 2023 (UTC)

User Name

[edit]

Just had to drop by to tell you that I love your User Name. It gave me a good laugh, and what's better than that? I of course had to check, and I'm afraid there is no User:Invasive Species, which was a little disappointing. ;) Anomalous+0 (talk) 10:39, 6 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hah. I've used Valerian on occasion. Had no idea it was an invasive plant species. Are you the person who added that little tidbit to the article? Anomalous+0 (talk) 07:30, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Surprisingly no. Looking around the wiki I don't see very many. Schinus terebinthifolia is the only one I can find.
It's what I thought my wikicareer would be. You would think this would be me. This is me.
Does this Wikipedian exist?! Invasive Spices (talk) 13:35, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock

Hello Invasive Spices, I see that you never made an unblock request, and without that process, you wouldn't be able to return. At the block notification, you countered the block reasoning of .. making redirects that go against the community's wishes., by saying: None of Fram's attempts to delete Epidemiology redirects created by myself have succeeded.

If you can check your redirects created vs deleted, and find it in your favour, you have a case. Jay 💬 05:59, 22 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the number of redlinks in the archives. The record is not in IS' favour. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 13:33, 22 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not what the other editor said. In any case the number is the number if WP:DEL were followed. Invasive Spices (talk) 23:47, 22 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Then he will have to acknowledge it and make the appeal accordingly. He has been using this talk page for other discussions, but has not used it to make an unblock request. Jay 💬 06:50, 23 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
