Notability of Tom Fordyce

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Tom Fordyce, by Dm82 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Tom Fordyce seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Tom Fordyce, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Tom Fordyce itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 18:20, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Innerproduct! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 77 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Alberto Bressan - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks for the message. Yes, there were examples of his art, but they were deleted. I don't know if there are extant files. I must admit I have not looked at it for a while. I didn't know he'd died. I am sorry to hear it. Paul B (talk) 09:11, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Roger Hearing has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article does not contain verifiable sources that are independent of the individual. For notability guidelines, please see: WP:Notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:39, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
