[edit]Daisy bell edit
[edit]Why do you elimined that edit ? Elpro72 (talk) 08:18, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Assuming that it is this edit], I explained that the reasons were WP:SONGCOVER and WP:SONGTRIVIA. The article Daisy Bell has a history of attracting unsourced entries. Specifically, WP:SONGTRIVIA says
its use should be integrated in the article, preferably with some context as described by reliable sources, rather than e.g. "It was in Episode 15 of The Example TV Show".
It is a common misunderstanding to add this type of material, as a Wikipedia article about a song is not intended to be an exhaustive list of places where it appears. There must be some sourcing.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:37, 16 August 2025 (UTC)- What is a sourcing for you ? Tell me and i will find Elpro72 (talk) 08:43, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- It is reliable secondary sourcing. As I've said, it is a common mistake in Wikipedia song articles to say things like "it was in episode X of television show Y". Even if this is true, there is no sourcing discussing why it is notable.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 09:55, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- That's a good point , but the video have 19 millon of views , i don't know if that counts Elpro72 (talk) 18:09, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

- YouTube videos are not ideal sources on Wikipedia, because they may have copyright problems. There is a good video here which has the entire song on which the Nebbed video is based. However, it still comes back the need for secondary sources discussing the notability, rather than simply saying that it is on YouTube.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 20:28, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Ok i understand , but i don't belive others understand this Elpro72 (talk) 21:09, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- It does not. I think there is a chance of other source covering it, but be prepared not to have it. Techie3 (talk) 20:28, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Talk:Killing of Iryna Zarutska
[edit]Next time someone asks for the title to be changed could you please close the section instead of reverting the request entirely? I dont think NOTFORUM applies to simple page moving requests Trade (talk) 06:53, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, but I had hoped that people would stop requesting this by now. There could be a FAQ at the top of the page, but in my experience people rarely read these.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 06:55, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
- Would you like to be the one making the FAQ?
- "There could be a FAQ at the top of the page, but in my experience people rarely read these" It stops users from claiming that they could not possibly have known better. So yeah i would still consider it an success Trade (talk) 07:00, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
- I'll look into creating a FAQ.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 07:11, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
- Users complaining about the title
- Users complaining about the article being nominated for deletion
- Users complaining about the inclusion/not inclusion of the victim's/suspects race
I suppose that should cover most of the complaints--Trade (talk) 07:22, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
- There is already a page at Talk:Killing of Iryna Zarutska/FAQ. I've added two questions and answers to address some of the recent points being made on the talk page.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 15:55, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
