In your article Raymond Hickey (linguist), note that wikilinks (links to other Wikipedia articles) are made simply by putting double brackets around the target, not by pasting the complete url. Thus, [[banana]]
results in banana, which displays more appropriately than banana. Urls should only be used for External links. Finally, please try to balance out the article with more secondary sources that place the subject in context, and establish notability. Undue reliance on primary sources (the author's own publications), runs the risk of appearing promotional, or potentially becoming original research, both of which violate policy. No matter ones own opinion of a person or subject, articles must still be written from a neutral point of view, which requires no more coverage than proportional to the coverage in third party sources.
