[edit]Hi @HistorianAlferedo, I have seen that you removed Jat word from lead section of Jind State page. Your reason was that âcastecruft not needed everywhereâ but in the previous version Jat word was written only in the lead section and not anywhere else in the article. - I did the right thing by removing castecruft. Why are you concerned for removal of castecruft? seems a bit fishy as instead of reverting those pages you are actually supporting such castecruft on wikipedia? We are here to add unbiased information, free from caste based povpush and castecruft. I try my best to remove such unneeded changes from various articles and you should too do the same. - you are right that we should remove castecruft to maintain the neutrality of this platform. But i donât think that if a caste is written only once in an article enhances or glorifies the caste. Hi HistorianAlferedo! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Bargujar and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. This is a friendly message in order to help you understand the use of minor tag in edits! Yet another warning
[edit]Alferedo, you have already received your warning for violating your topic ban, where I wrote "if you violate the t-ban again, you will receive escalating blocks". Now Tamzin has pointed out on my own page that you've violated it again. Being a softie, I still hesitate to block you â they were only small and proper edits, and I do believe they arose from a misunderstanding â but seriously, you have to stop now. Read your ban notice again, and read Wikipedia:Broadly construed. There will be no more grace. If an article is at all related to caste or social groups, just leave it completely, completely alone.
