- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 20:27, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
- John Murton (theologian)

[edit] Hi Heidon! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Remsense 🌈 论 21:17, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
Unsourced changes across WikiProject Christianity-related articles
[edit]User:Heidon, you have made edits across multiple articles that are unsourced, while removing existing references. Other users, such as User:Confession0791 and User:Spinney Hill, have noticed the same and have added {{citation needed}} tags to your edits or have reverted them. I have restored certain changes that you have introduced to articles that exhibit such tendencies. I would recommend discussing changes to articles on the talk page before implementing your desired edits, as some of these are not accurate. I hope this helps. With regards, AnupamTalk 23:51, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- I'm looking at some of the edits now, and it seems they are largely unsourced opinions. Especially controversial content to be added must be from third-party, peer reviewed, trusted sources, with inline citations. Preferably more than one. —Confession0791 talk 00:41, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- User:Confession0791, thanks for your comment. I have gone through many of the edits of User:Heidon and have reversed certain changes. However, there are many articles, especially those of a biographical nature, that I have not reviewed. If you have the time, please go through them. I have observed that many of the changes are not referenced and change correct information to incorrect information. AnupamTalk 02:12, 29 June 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Remsense 🌈 论 01:02, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
Hi Heidon! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Eucharist and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Mary, mother of Jesus, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. "Orthodoxs" isn't the result of fruitful copyediting, and unfortunately it's one of those changes that can't just be a typo because there's no way it could be right. I don't want to discourage you, but I stress that you should feel comfortable with formal written English before you start copyediting encyclopedia articles. Remsense 🌈 论 19:07, 5 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Anupam. I noticed that you recently removed content from Template:Reformed confessions without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi Heidon! I noticed that you recently made an edit at John Bunyan and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Southdevonian (talk) 14:24, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to American Baptist Churches USA. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. AnupamTalk 01:46, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
To editor Heidon: Thank you for your recent edits, including those to the General Baptists article. Please ensure that any material you add is supported by reliable sources within the body of the article. Only content that is properly sourced in the main text should be summarized in the lead section. ----Telikalive (talk) 16:08, 17 July 2025 (UTC)
To editor Heidon: You have to source with secondary sources your edits on the Baptists article. Please see WP:CITE. If you don't agree please show why your edit doesn't require source in the article talk page ---Telikalive (talk) 13:12, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
Hugh Evans (minister) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Hugh Evans (minister). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 06:11, 18 July 2025 (UTC)

- Your reverts have also been not constructives to the Thomas Helwys article. Surely I'll leave a message in your talk page. Heidon (talk) 16:50, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi Heidon! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Baptists in the United States and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Nat Gertler (talk) 15:25, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hey, Nat Gertler! I'm sorry for that small mistake! When I finished my edit, I accidentaly clicked "minor edit" because of the customary practice of editing minor details. I congratulate you for the warn and the cooperative contribution. Thank you! Heidon (talk) 17:22, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
- I see that you restored the edit after someone had undone it. Under WP:BURDEN, if someone challenges the addition of unsourced material, it is the responsibility of the person making the additions to provide documentation. Unless you can provide sources for the material being added, you would need to find consensus on the article's talk page (Talk:Baptists in the United States) before you could properly readd the material. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 20:43, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Anupam. I noticed that you recently removed content from Template:Baptist without adequately explaining why. Thanks. AnupamTalk 22:13, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Template:Baptist shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

- Hello User:Anupam. I have left a message on your talk page. Please go check it. Thank you! Heidon (talk) 22:25, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know. I opened up a talk page discussion and you must not revert until a consensus is reached there. If you do, you will be blocked from editing English Wikipedia. AnupamTalk 22:33, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
