Stop icon Your recent editing history at Coldplay shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. An edit war occurs when two or more users begin repeatedly reverting content on a page in a back-and-forth fashion to restore it back to how they think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree with their changes. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or undo the edits made by other editors when your changes are reverted. Instead, please use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. The best practice at this time is to stop editing the page and to discuss the disagreements, issues, and concerns at-hand with the other editors involved in the dispute. Wikipedia provides a page that helps to detail how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.

Continuing to engage in further edit warring behavior can result in being blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your demeanor, behavior, or conduct indicate that you intend to continue repeatedly making reverts to the page. 4TheWynne (talk contribs) 15:13, 6 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain namespaces ((Article)) for a period of 31 hours for exceeding WP:3RR on Coldplay. Please come to ANI to discuss further concerns about your editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The Bushranger One ping only 21:04, 6 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, please consider at least tweaking your signature per WP:SIGFORGE; if your links have been clicked on, it looks identical to mine, which is especially frustrating whenever we're both involved in the same discussion. 4TheWynne (talk contribs) 03:47, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Better? — GustavoCza (talk · edits) 10:24, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, thank you. You should also consider changing the target of the talk link to the top of the page rather than the full page so that the link doesn't go bold when you comment on your user talk page – in other words, talktalk; "edits" for the contributions link, as you initially had it, would also help to distinguish further. 4TheWynne (talk contribs) 12:42, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Coldplay) for a period of 1 week for edit warring which has continued after release of previous block. I encourage you to edit the talk page to engage in dispute resolution during this block. If you continue edit warring you are likely to be blocked sitewide for an extended period.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.

Thank you for your emails Gustavo! I know you're taking a break from Wikipedia, so no worries if you don't see this right away. Just wanted to respond!

I still hope to go back and give the "Fun" page some more love - I just ended up getting pretty busy with work and other things yesterday. It's definitely on my radar.

I appreciate your kind words and all the work you've put into the Coldplay pages. I can see how much you care about getting things right. I also am very sensitive to the hate that Coldplay gets. I have never understood why a band that genuinely and earnestly only wants to make the world a better place gets so much shit.

I went ahead and reverted the unsourced claim on the MOTS tour page (there was a typo too). I hope your time away will be restorative for you, everyone needs a break sometimes! And thanks for teaching me about the 'justify paragraphs' thing, I had no idea about that either!

P.S. Your edit summaries crack me up (e.g. the the Ariana Grande 'positions' one)

Best wishes, Veggiegalaxy (talk) 13:45, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
