Thanks for creating this biography for the most senior civil servant in Scotland. Well-warranted. My main concern relates to tone - it reads more like a hagiography than a history; remember WP:NPOV.

Selective comments such as 'devoted public service and leadership', 'invaluable advice', 'brings a wealth of experience to this role', 'distinguished career ' and 'unyielding focus on delivering'. The point is that these are all pronouncement by politicians on a a civil servant leaving or entering a position - they are meant for pitch or spin, not an objective dispationate analysis. So, the content is correct, but also not from a neutral point of view. See WP:PUFFERY. Klbrain (talk) 12:52, 31 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia.
