Request un-protection of article Kwebbelkop

[edit]

Hello, thanksfor taking the time to read this message. I've recently created a draft (User:Dwarfroe/Kwebbelkop) of the YouTuber and AI promoter Kwebbelkop, but am unable to publish it due to the page creation being indefinitely protected in 2015. At the time, I believe he wasn't notable, but I think that he is now, a decade later. Thanks in advance. - dwarfroe (talk / contr) 20:33, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Done@Dwarfroe: I guess the encyclopedia can always use an extra "YouTuber and AI promoter". Favonian (talk) 08:04, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

There is an edit revision box at the above article related to an edit of yours from 2012, with the only option to "unaccept" the edit. Not sure of the best approach to make it go away. Seasider53 (talk) 11:21, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure I understand what the problem is. I imposed pending changes protection on the article in 2012. If what you're looking at is the most recent change (Special:Diff/1297850768), which was done by an auto-confirmed user, hence automatically accepted, you're given the option to "unaccept it". That's probably not a good idea, so you should just navigate elsewhere. Favonian (talk) 11:48, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I know you to be a decent sort. Any chance you could take a look at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection#Chocolatería San Ginés? I have engaged with the offending editor on his/her talk page and yet the bad behaviour persists. Your guidance on page protect, or whether I should take this to another forum such as WP:ANI would be very helpful. Thanks in advance. 10mmsocket (talk) 12:13, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. 10mmsocket (talk) 12:22, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

RM reopening

[edit]

In this edit summary you gave no reason to reopen a move request that had been officially closed by an experienced closer, reopened by the inexperienced nominator of the RM, and then reclosed by myself. With respect, how is it that you thought it to be correct to reopen it again? P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 11:25, 6 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Paine Ellsworth, that was a misclick, which I self-reverted within one minute. Sorry about that! Favonian (talk) 11:33, 6 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's all good. Thank you very much! P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 11:48, 6 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
