The last edits were in response to request of other Wikipedian to add more inner links from existing entries to a new entry so that it will not be orphan. The main motivation was to expand knowledge and provide more context to those topics. I could either delete the reference or add many more to other authors. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks! Hi thanks for this response! Best practice is not to cite yourself or people with whom you have a personal or close professional connection. If there aren't other sources, that's an indication that the material might not be encyclopedic (or at least not yet!). To nevertheless include citations to authors with whom you have a WP:COI, it's recommended that you propose language on the talk page for other editors to consider adding to the article. I personally wouldn't have a problem with someone later themself adding the material if there are no responses to that post, but some editors are stricter about this.
