Your contributed article, Allegations of genocide in the 2023 Israeli attack on Gaza
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Allegations of genocide in the 2023 Israeli attack on Gaza. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Allegations of genocide in the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Allegations of genocide in the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. ~~mAyLiNgOeEd (Talk to me!) (See what else I did on Wikipedia!!📜) 02:14, 29 December 2023 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hello, Crampcomes. Thank you for your work on James Reitz. North8000, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Good start. At first glance this looks like AFD material; the first 11 references are basically about the news event of him dying in court. Even the last two are obits but IMO there is enough coverage there for wp:notability. Suggest expanding content from those two references. Happy editing!
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|North8000}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Violation of rules
[edit]Since when Ips can not comment this kind of topics - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/June 2025 Iranian strikes on Israel ?? Your edit violates the rules, it is a vandalism, and I am going to pay the administrators attention to this, unless you show me a rule providing otherwise !! But before that plz read WP:EQUAL. Waiting for tour response before I will wright to admins. 70.191.12.239 (talk) 22:22, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
- Admin here--the answer to

is since September 2021. Crampcomes' edits enforcing this rule at that AfD are fine and welcomed, although perhaps more clearly linking the relevant rationale would have avoided this complaint. signed, Rosguill talk 23:40, 14 June 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from Hamas into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. MCE89 (talk) 05:20, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
Your edit to Genocidal intent of Hamas toward Israel has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for information on how to contribute your work appropriately. For legal reasons, Wikipedia strictly cannot host copyrighted text or images from print media or digital platforms without an appropriate and verifiable license. Contributions infringing on copyright will be removed. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. QEnigma 论 06:11, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- @QEnigma As I noted in my dummy edit to the page repairing attribution and my warning about CWW above, the entire contents of Genocidal intent of Hamas toward Israel was copied from Hamas. The copyrighted content from the HRW report was added to Hamas by another editor in 2010 — I'll remove that from Hamas now. The other content that you removed and RD1'd from https://liberalismi.net/wiki/Ihmisoikeudet_Palestiinassa is not copyrighted, as the source is PD and the text in question originated on Wikipedia anyway. Hopefully that's clear, I'll restore that content and fix up the revdel tag. MCE89 (talk) 06:33, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hello MCE89, Thank you for the reply. Please do not remove the copyvio/revdel notice. State your case in the talk page and let an admin decide as to its legality. Best regards. QEnigma 论 06:40, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- @QEnigma I didn't say that I was going to remove the revdel tag, I said that I was going to fix it and remove the inaccurate URL. https://liberalismi.net/wiki/Ihmisoikeudet_Palestiinassa very clearly says that it is public domain, and the content on Hamas predates that page anyway, so the text originated on Wikipedia and is not a copyright violation. Do you object to me restoring the text from that source and removing that URL from the revdel tag? You are correct that the HRW source is copyrighted, so the RD1 tag should be kept in place with that URL only (I have also rewritten that section of the original source page). MCE89 (talk) 06:48, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- @MCE89: Please note WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:COPYWITHIN guidelines. State your case on the article talk page and seek a consensus or advice. QEnigma 论 06:57, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- @QEnigma Thanks, but I am very familiar with those guidelines. I have removed the URL from the RD1 tag and have left a note on the talk page. MCE89 (talk) 07:04, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- @QEnigma, you are misunderstanding what MCE89 is doing. He did not need to leave a note on the talk page or "seek consensus". Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 18:52, 23 August 2025 (UTC)

Notice of Arbitration Enforcement noticeboard discussion
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a report involving you at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement regarding a possible violation of an Arbitration Committee decision. The thread is Crampcomes. Thank you. Fram (talk) 14:35, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction
[edit]The following sanction now applies to you:
topic banned from the Arab-Israeli conflict, broadly construed
You have been sanctioned for the reasons provided in response to this arbitration enforcement request.
This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Index/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision and, if applicable, the contentious topics procedure. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the appeal process. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything above is unclear to you. Barkeep49 (talk) 00:13, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- Is this [1] a topic ban violation, @Barkeep49? IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 00:42, 5 September 2025 (UTC)
